I have worked with a variety of libraries, nonprofits, corporations, opensource initiatives, and individuals on web-based projects as a consultant, freelance agent, or as fulltime staff. I am available for both consultation (website analysis, database testing, project management) as well as freelance work (metadata, database, technical writing and editing, photography, art and/or webdesign).

Metadata, information architecture, web standards, usability, principles of good design, database products, Web 2.0/social networking tools, and using opensource software to extend the capabilities of web design. Experienced with a variety of graphic and web editing suites including Macromedia (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator), Blog software (greymatter, movable type, wordpress,expression engine, drupal, blogger. etc.), proficient in HTML, CSS, Mysql databases. Additional areas of interest and experience: Web/Library 2.0, emerging web standards, cross browser compatibility, php, javascript, graphic design, mixed media/multimedia, visual literacy, learning styles, mashups, multipotentiality, & creativity.
