so I'm raising money for a new camera lens.... here are a few things I am selling:
2 snowboards
(also a camera lens,a pocketpc, a palm pilot, and some techy stuff that I don't use anymore...)
Left: Gnu deck/top; Right: Venus deck/top
GNU is green/gray/blue -- kind of a bowling ball swirl design.
Venus is blue/white with white + blue snowflakes.
Some flash reflection on the GNU in this photo. It has a couple of small scratches, but that is 99% flash reflection.
In the photo below:
Some flash reflection on the bottom of the GNU/wax on the GNU. It has a light layer of wax left, but not much.
I can give it a really good/slick wax job, but that's going to be an extra 10$ because I need more wax. ;-)
Plus, if you take it to a shop, I guarantee they will charge WAY more than that.

Lots of flash on the GNU top; no major scratches
Venus “Create” 152cm. new and never ridden. $125 OBO -- good board for a teen or girl or someone who wants a smaller board for tricks -- deck design blue with snowflakes -- absolutely never ridden -- never used
GNU “Carbon Select” 157cm. lighly used, good condition. $150 OBO -- excellent board and very well maintained (edges tuned, etc.). Green "bowling bowl" swirly pattern... Has a clear stomp pad and a Mt Hood sticker (I can remove both). GNU is made in the U.S. by Mervin Manufacturing one of the premier (and original) companies in the snowboard industry.
Basically, I will never ride the Venus because it's too small for me. The GNU -- I love and have kept thinking I *might* ride it again -- but I love my lib tech more. No need for 4 snowboards ;-)
Both of these are stored in my closet - not in damp basement or garage.
Venus original retail price at 400$; GNU anywhere from 250 (used)-500.
